Presenting at TechGarage ‘08

Tomorrow we will be presenting OpenSpime at TechGarage ‘08. TechGarage enables startups to meet with potential investors, in an energetic and interactive environment, where the exchange of ideas is encouraged. We are glad to have been chosen to be one of the presenters there.

‘Birds Of A Feather’ session at ETech

We organized a ‘Birds Of a Feather’ session at ETech yesterday, which enables the quick grouping of people with similar interests to share ideas and discuss issues concerning a given topic. We called the session “Earth Monitoring – When Spimes Rule The Planet”, and had a great attendance with people from SAP Labs, TreeHugger, and SUN Labs among others discussing for over an hour, not only questioning our technology and approach, but also expressing their views, and sharing interesting points of view.

Talking at Ignite

Just got off the phone with Brady, who is the chair of ETech. We agreed that we’ll be talking at ETech Ignite… which is fully booked. So we will be ready to take the stage if one of the scheduled speakers doesn’t show up. I told Brady that we’ll wait 30 seconds and after that we’ll jump!

Of course we will record our presentation, and share it online, even if nobody misses their slot, so for those of you who are not at ETech there’ll be no difference at all. See you Monday evening at 8.30. We’ll be ready!
